Outdoor yoga with triyoga

Check out triyoga's Flash Mob Yoga classes taking place over the next few weeks. First one was last night in Chelsea and the brave yogi's were practicing their moves in the rain. Now that's dedication.

The classes are in collaboration with lululemon athletica, the much loved athletic brand from Canada. These 30 minute vinyasa flow classes will take part in Chelsea, Carnaby Street and Primrose Hill.

The idea? To celebrate yoga, bring the community together and offer some yoga fun.

Post class, Passport to yoga booklets will be given out by the lululemon team. These passports will give you 10 complimentary yoga tickets, which can be redeemed at a participating yoga centre of your choice, triyoga being one of them.

Simply rock up at one of the following sessions, roll out your mat and get moving.

Dates with triyoga teachers:

Thursday 19th July at 1pm - 1.30pm with teacher Claire Missingham

Location - Carnaby Street.

Thursday 26th July at 1pm - 1.30pm with teacher Amne Poulton

Location - Primrose Hill Park.

Bend it with Natasha Rizopoulos

I’m very excited about Natasha Rizopoulos coming to London's triyoga to teach a series of life enhancing workshops. A regular Yoga Journal contributor she certainly knows her stuff and any classes you can do with her will improve your practice and refresh your perspective on life.

Her style cleverly blends Ashtanga and Iyengar principles which results in a dynamic and intelligently sequenced and aligned Vinyasa Flow class. If you fear going upside down there is an entire workshop dedicated to just this - I have booked already.

Check out detailed info on each of her six workshops at www.triyoga.co.uk

Happy Hair + Body = happy me

If you are in need of some TLC then book a day at FOUR on Conduit Street and get pampered from head to toe.

It is the beauty insiders secret with supermodels and beauty editors alike gracing its big brass doors.

Since discovering their clever colour experts my mane is back to its 'pre grey' glossy self and feels positively happier.

Book in with any of the founders - Brooke, Denise, Charlie or Maleeka and you will leave feeling like a well turned out New Yorker. These clever 'hair enhancers' work their magic and find you the best colour for your skin type, age and personality. Bad hair days are officially over.

Post colour I book in for one of the Dr duve body treatments, on this occasion the Dr Duve Sculpt me a better body which aims to firm and contour the body targeting areas prone to sagging and premature ageing. Stomach, upper arms and thighs are given the once over with the super sonic Dr Duve laser jet Whoosh combined with the Dr Duve Duve Micro needling ( which is less painful that it sounds). All of this detoxes, exfoliates and firms up those problem areas.

I come out with bouncy, healthy hair and a body that feels more toned and less lumpy. Ready for Selfridges jeans department.

To book a colour or a Dr Duve treatment call FOUR on 0207 297 9600

Purple Dragon a kids wonderland

Purple Dragon looks more like a posh Japanese restaurant from the outside, but step instead and you are transported to a kids paradise. With uber library, swimming pool, recording studio, mini kitchen, trampolines, in-door golf and they can even chase butterflies- not real ones. This place is hard to fault.

While children play you can grab a juice or have lunch at the swanky restaurant or relax and indulge in a manicure(while your cherubs are watched over by the teachers)or pedicure.

We love the Purple Dragon’s Adverntures + experiences offerings which aims to enhance children’s learning through teacher-led classes that promote confidence, communication, co ordination and creativity. You have to see it to believe it. We took away painted lanterns, mini pizzas and sleepy but very happy children. The only question from 3 year old Huxley was “but where was the Purple Dragon” - perhaps the only thing that the clever people behind purple Dragon have missed.
